Tests will only assess aggregated school results from each school, and will not take into account the learning difficulties of individual children. This broad testing methodology may have an impact on schools’ efforts towards inclusion. Schools may be even more reluctant to accept children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, for fear of losing funding if they don’t score well on the tests."
